Evaluation 6

- For our sound and voice over we recorded it on our iphone app. We used a piano for our sound which we recorded and then sent to ourselves over email. Furthermore, for our voice over we recorded the voice over which we also sent to ourselves. We found this the easiest way to get our voice and sound to our opening two minutes. it was also easier to transfer the voice over that we recorded so we could add it to the opening 2 minutes, as it was just one click away to send it to the email which we could access on the computer and just add it to the opening 2 minutes

 
We used a tripod which we borrowed from our teacher, this made everything much easier as we could get a steady and more accurate shot so we didnt lose marks when filming.

- We used our own camera for filming as we found it easier to use than the schools ones which they was going to provide us with. We used normal settings on the camera and no effect as we was going to edit it on movie maker. We found this more effective way as we shall be able to see the scenes and shots we filmed more clearly. For our title of the film we took a picture of the pathway and then put the title 'the pathway' and then editied it to make it link with our opening two minutes.


We used many different technology based products. These were;

The voice recorder on the iPhone. This was a very big essential piece for our final project. The voice recorder was used to record the scream used when the victim (Emma) 'transforms' to something scary once seeing the killer (Jordan).We also used this to record our soundtrack and Emma's voice over. So far, this is one of the most importance piece of equipment we've used.


Laptop:
This was one of the most important piece of equipment we used for our 2 minute opening production. The laptop brought everything together, using programmes on it such a windows movie maker, which helped make the film and also transfering the sounds over, so that we could add it in to our presentation. The laptop is essential for our opening two minutes as it brings everything together.


Editing Software:
The editing software we used was both windows movie maker and Adobe Premier Elements. These who were the key essentials we used for making our film, as we were able to add effects and edit the 'bloopers' out of our film. This was linked into the laptop, as this could only be used on a laptop/computer. These softwares are very good for editing as it gave us a whole range of options, adding in transactions and also helping adding in our sounds.


Piano:
We used the piano to create our background music for when the antagonist (Jordan) appeared or was going to appear in our 2 minute clip. The piece was created by Bryony. We added in the music using windows movie maker or Adobe premier elemants. The music which was created was a scary, eerey sound, as it gave the audience and more scarier effect to the film.
